Mountain Project now has an app on Facebook which will show your tick list and your to do list directly on your Facebook profile. It will automatically update when you change them on Mountain Project.

You can add it from the About Page on Facebook

Awesome, but what happens if we use a different email address for here and facebook. I can't add the app since on Facebook I had to use a school email address.

Can this be remedied?

You can have different email addresses - you just have to be logged in to Mountain Project when you install the app on facebook (logged with the same or different address).

Mine doesn't work then. I tried being logged in here first, logging in through the facebook app, removing and reinstalling, and everything else I could think of. When I try to login there like it asks (even if I'm already logged in here), it just accepts the info and spits me out on the main MP.com page.

huh? Thanks for any suggestions

I am having the same issue as Jordan. Mountainproject does not show up in my profile and there is definitely no to do or ticklist. Logging in just brings me to Mountainproject within facebook. I hope we can fix this, because I think it is a great idea!

It doesn't work on the "new" facebook. Switch to the "old" facebook and it should work fine.

Mine doesn't work on either new or old. It just keeps opening up MPs within MPs.

Mine works fine. I'm using Firefox, if that makes a difference for anyone.

Have you tried just logging into facebook and searching the applications for "mountain project" rather than doing the whole logged-into-both-sites deal? You can access it from there without being logged into mountain project, I think.

Hey, it does work in Firefox. Stupid IE.

Finally got to the bottom of the problems with IE, and it should all work correctly now. You will have to log out and log back in to Mountain Project first though.

Heck ya, it works now in IE. Thanks for all the hard work!

Sweet! More ways to attention whore.

And to think people just used to put stickers on their cars and use carribiners to clip their keys to their backpacks to scream "I'm a climber!" to the world.

Is there anyway to get the application to show on my Facebook page so when my friends login and view my page they can see what I have been climbing?

This is great. I was just talking about this and it should be able to be done and now it is. Very cool. Have not tried of it in new facebook, but have already switched back to the old with other problems.
