Hey I wanted to know if anyone in the golden, co area needs a climbing partner? I moved here a couple of months ago and have not found a good climbing partner. I climb 5.9 trad(lead), I can follow at least 5.10. I lead 5.10 sport strong. If anyone is interested please email me. rnd0002@gmail.com

I love trad. My name is Donna. I am learning to lead in the gym now. I cruise 5.9's and I am pushing 5.10's. By June, I will be cruising 10's and leading outdoor 9's (I would be comfortable leading 8's and below now!).

I am 44 years old (look 34, act 24), 5'7" and about 140 lbs and trimming. I learned by cleaning trad, multi-pitch, so I have experience there. I can clean anchors and rap down on my own (with coaching tips at first).

My endurance is shakey for now, so I am slow on the approach...but would love to climb outdoors with you on any Saturday. I love Eldo and Clear Creek and would consider a trip to Moab, Canyonlands, Shelf Road, Indian Creek, etc.

Hope to be in touch.

I am from Rifle, ya I know it's a little further away but hey why not.
My name is Tim, I suck at rock but cruise ice and love mountaineering. PM me if you want to hit some peaks.

why is it only people from CO post in the general climbing forum(the one for the whole world) when what they have to say and ask is a LOCAL subject? Is the education system that bad? maybe its the high grade crippler?

Only CT. queers have a problem with it. Oh, and by the way the forum is called "General Climbing", now if your Eastern public school system was worth anything you would realize that these posts are about "general climbing". So STFU. Have a nice day and climb safe.

hey Tim, 1985 just called...

I should probably drink coffee before logging in here and posting ^. apologies.

I did just find out the other day that this WAS a boulder website before. I see how all the different forums can be confusing for some.

funny how their logo colors are the same as the spandex colors that most CO climbers prefer.

what this town could really use is a few Moes "only the best get baked" bagels. and a roasting.com/home.html

unless owner of spandex mill is from CO we are usually at the mercy of some east-coast-wanker who picks the colors for us. A rather "limited" choice really

Hey RND0002 and Donna,
After reading through the lovefest that followed your comments, I thought it might be easier to say, YUP, I'd like to also get out and about in the Boulder/Golden area for a day of play. Would be up for anything in the grades you mentioned, got a lot of gear for someone who doesn't get out that much anymore. Send me a message if you're interested. I've got a pretty loose schedule right now.
Aloha, Dave

I am also looking for after work partners in Golden/Boulder and people to climb with in the mountains (technical, couloirs, peaks, etc. . .) on Sundays.

Hey Tracy, I'm looking to do several couloirs this spring/summer too - maybe we could team up. I'm thinking Skywalker and the Trough for instance - never done either. No real dates in mind yet, but from what i gather neither will really be in condition for a few weeks yet. Gimme a shout if you want to try and plan something.

Mike, I haven't done either of those but would like to. I'd also like to do Hopeful on Mt. Hope, The C Couloir on Missouri and the Snake on Sneffels. Will probably hit one per week starting in May depending on conditions. Come to think of it there are several more. Keep my e-mail: gurlyclimber@msn.com
