Curious how yer cookin' them? I fileted and rubbed in cornmeal with a few drops of oil.
Corn meal or some kind of batter would have been nice. I think we just fried them up with some olive oil, salt, pepper. They were pretty small but it's always nice to have something that doesn't need to be rehydrated.
!! Where's the heads?! The cheek meat and the eyes are the best part!
