I work at the local gear shop and usually have at least one day off during the week. Would be looking to try for some of the bigger backcountry stuff (Cataliina S.P., Stronghold) as well as anything else around here.
My wife is pregnant and should be popping in under 2 months, so after that my schedule will tighten up a bit.
PM if you are interested.

Hi--

I am in Tucson through the beginning of February, essentially on vacation, and am looking for a climbing partner. Not sure how to find a partner online, but I have been climbing fairly seriously (3 times/week, mix of indoor and sport with some trad, trying to get better) since June, and am quite obsessed. Have done lots of backcountry mountain biking, skiing, and alpine climbs for many years, still run occasionally (was on cross country and track through high school long ago) plus like yoga. Sounds like fun. In Tucson I have access to (1) a car and (2) a mountain bike plus have my small rack (planning to grow on this trip as necessary but no trad pro yet) of 5 draws, some slings/biners/, ascenders, and a 60 m rope. And my trail running shoes and camping gear. Basically my goal is to get better at climbing and have fun, and am extremely flexible about time/place. Email me at jackmarr@gmail.com if you would like to climb/bike-- actually thinking of going to Fantasy Island tomorrow for a day off climbing. Jack

what are the chances you are going to the Anusara workshop mid feb in tucson?. Me and my wife will be there. I am looking to get out 2 days for climbing: feb 14 and feb 26. I can lead sport 10 and trad 9. looking to do multipitch day up the longest route avail, and a day of sport.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
