start of pitch 2.  used a #3 about ten feet from the belay anchors.  after the fourth bolt we found a placement for a #1. <br /> <br />pitch 1 was easier but more runout..  used a #2 at the top of the slab directly 10 feet below the first bolt.  was easier but more runout. <br /> <br />you can always see the next bolt so its easy to stay on route

With my new rack of C4's, I found a good #5 in the hueco that the leader's left hand is on. Also, a #4 worked in a pocket by her feet, but a five might work best there also. My feet were still above the cams while doing the move up to the first bolt, but it felt more like bouldering than soloing.

I tried of get my #6 Friend to fit along the way, but never found it useful. Next time I'll just bring two #5 Camalots.
