By ssimonson09 From: Tacoma, WA Jan 20, 2011 They're actually like Pokemon, they start out as deer, and if they survive enough years without getting run over by marauding tourons in giant SUVs, then they evolve into elk. They usually stay in the elk stage for many years and many games of rock-paper-antlers until one day they ascend to the level of the almighty MOOSE and depart for the western side of the divide.
