Rockfall can be a serious consideration at the Universal Wall. We found this boulder more than half a mile from the wall and it wasn't there last season.
After Steve Shobe and I did a GU on the Universal wall called Hydra 11+ ....Ian Katz joined me to put up Universal Form. This was during huge debates about fixed bolts. The idea was to try RBs removable bolts (basically a hole cam). Way left of Hydra....

Erigeron uncialis ssp, conjugans (inch high fleabane): on the classified sensitive plant list and found often in wet areas on the rock faces. I have also seen a variety with tiny yellow flowers.

Viola purpurea (Charleston Violet); another classified sensitive plant in the area and easy to step on. you don't see too many but I've seen these at the base of Sesame Street.
Charleston Mountain Thistle seems to grow everywhere up there and often where you want to walk; On the classified sensitive list
Castilleja martinii (clokeys paint brush): another plants species classified on the sensitive list
Ivesia jaegeri or Jaeger's Mousetail: another of the classified sensitive plants in the area
Angelica Scabrida: one of the classified sensitive plants in the area
