The original summit register of "Anne's Rock", the first ascent party's name for Jug Dome, which was climbed via an unknown route on Febuary 28, 1959.
A close up look at Layton Kor's summit register entry for Anne's Rock (aka Jug Dome). His route, the "Direct South Face" (5.8), done with Rob Wheeler in 1970, remains enigmatic today. Currently a relatively new sport climbing area, the rock boasts few protectable features other than a couple of grooves and a discontinuous flared chimney/dihedral or two.

This is the two car pullout with the red line representing the approximate path of the approach trail. Extra parking is available just east of this spot at the Big Thompson River Scenic Stop.
