How about deep water soloing? since we climb up then fall, that doesn't count as "cliff-jumping' does it?

Yes, it counts, and it is punishable by $5,000 fine. From the latest Williams guidebook for the area: "Cliff jumping is defined as entering the lake from a height greater than one's own." Please do not do this if you are a climber. If you want to be a badass, get on routes above your ability and take massive whips. Don't jeopardize things for the rest of us.
