John's cool too, but he's not as easy on the eyes.

Killis aren't you the guy that names the routes at the gym derrogatory things?

I thought that was you, seriously?

What am I goading you into revealing? Sounds like something important...lol.

Let the "breaking bad" by you or any of your loved ones begin.

I've got free passes to the buffet of friends!

Just mention your with "Brent +1"

Catalonian Carl might be, hands down, the internets most vitriol voice.

okay ladies and gentlemen. i rarely get into these forums, well because people only complain about them and add no solutions. first of all if you go into the desert be prepared for the worst. when i go climbing i don't take only my climbing gear and no first aid. that is just plain simple minded and asking for problems. this is a place where the wild is next door to your house. you have exposure possibilities all the time. getting hurt and breaking a bone is like anything, possible at all times. so they didn't take care of this woman for your liking. are you a doctor or a registered emt, or even a wilderness first responder. do you have anything to tell you what they should have done for this lady. if so why did you just sit there and watch it happen. sorry if you are any one of these and just watched this happen, well you are part of the problem. as far as the commit about vegas sucking that is your opinion. maybe vegas isn't for you and you would rather be happy complaining about your new home. truth is your attitude is all your own doing. i am not saying vegas is all peaches and cream no place is. you as a resident and fellow climber{i am guessing you climb since you are on her} have a responsibility to make your life happy. i am not going to hold your had and do it for you. if you hate vegas so what move. i hated living in ohio because i couldn't climb year round. no i can, i moved and love the people i have met and place i have climbed and traveled around here. the other point is you brought up how someone names a route in the gym. lol really like there are not any offensive route names outside,or silly ones or even boring ones. let see numbers crag is really a lame name, but then who cares it is a name of a crag with numbers for the route names. hmmm. also since you brought it up i going to lay it down for you. chipping is what i call wimps way out. i look at it like putting in cheats to win at mario brothers or sonic. next you will brag about how you printed out a college diploma and put your name on it so it must be a degree. seriously leave it undone someone will do it someday. seriously if your ego is that big and you want to make routes go the gym. and then get good an climb the rock nature gave it to you. i will not even brush a hold to make it smother with a wire brush. i will take the pain of the hold and move one and be happy with the outcome either way. finally stop whining on this forum, they are for helping i believe not screaming on. go out climb here or move somewhere else but stop the hating and promote good rock climbing ethics and leave no trace. take care and enjoy

ps every one should have thought and prays or whatever you believe to reardon's family. god bless

I tuned in today to write a thread about what are fun things to do in Vegas indoors since the heat is getting me down.

To all you youngsters out there that a trying to "break it down" for me... let me drop you a few tidbits about myself, before you degrade me for not traveling with the ten essentials.

Check my profile...I have put up a Grade VI first ascent in the Black Canyon. Solo, and in winter. It's A4+, over a ledge that would kill you. (I know the bragging, and spray is numbing, but bear with me) DO you tough guys have any frame of reference for what this means, honestly? As far as dodgy ascents the list goes on and on and on...but so what?

I know about autonomous travel. Yes, I have my wfr'r.

That being said I know for a fact I have chipped more than McQuade (I consider Dan a friend) and Yaniro combined. I LOVE to mixed climb (M-climb), and pound KB's and LA's on aid climbs. LOVE IT PING PING PING PING!!!

Are you gentleman personally being robbed of anything?

The issue with Killis was a first person experience that I was trying to clear up, after he had openly and publicly bad-mouthed a friend of mine. Don't know what Carl's motive was for his post. My climbing experience does not begin or end with the gym.

You guys move out from Ohio and blindly start spouting about chipping. What routes, what holds?

I know that boys at the Roost are STILL chipping, currently, for their new FA's. Chipping may be a horrible thing, or it may be a neccassary evil, I don't know.

I guess it is my own weakness to even write ont these boards. I've been sucked in for too long a time. For you guys to spout to me about my life's happiness and how i need to move? Farce...

I defy anyone to see humans walk by an injured old woman, and have no emotional response.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
