Does anyone know the rating of the climb just to the left of this? It goes up the arete and then the chimney between the face this guy is on and the left wall. It finishes up left. We were having a debate as to the grade.

5.8-5.9 depending on who you talk too. I always thought it was more of an 8.

Thanks. I find the reported grades at Farley vary greatly (by as much as two grades) depending on who happens to be walking by and you ask. It doesn't have the benefit of a guidebook or consensus ratings due to it being such an obscure crag that no one knows about. :-)

No problem. It's a fun little route. A tad more technical than the other nearby 8 I think.

To add to the grade controversy, I heard the airy 12 you're on was 11b.

Does anyone know what the traverse of the roof goes at?

Starting inside the cave then traversing out the roof to finish on oosic is 12b. Probably hasn't been climbed in a while and might need some cleaning.
