I don't have a partner and I'm looking for a group to climb with. Thursday June 14- I'm available all day. Shelf, 11 Mile, Eldo, Devils Head, etc. Looking for mid .10 sport or 5.7-8 trad. More people, more fun. Can provide gear. Newbies no problem.
I'm new to Denver (arrived from NY this past Saturday) and looking for weekday climbing partners. I have been climbing at the Gunks on and off for 8 years. I took a trad lead course last summer but have not had the opportunity to start leading. I spent the past year working on my Master's in Nutrition and have had little time for fun. When I was climbing regularly (2 summers ago), I was comfortably cleaning 5.10 trad routes. I should currently be able to handle a 5.7/5.8.
I'm looking for safe/experienced climbing partners. Let me know if you are interested in some easy/starter climbs this Thursday, or in the future. I now have lots of free time to climb while looking for employment!
I am also looking for weekday partners!! I am fairly new at climbing, but I am comfortable doing 5.8 and attempting harder routes. I am not a strong lead-climber yet though... but it sounds like you two are. I'd love to go to Clear Creek Thursday. I have to work at 5pm. conifernurse@yahoo.com
So, the plan is to go to Shelf on Thursday. I was going to invite some other people that I just met who are relatively new to climbing, so it looks like there could end up being a good mix of experienced climbers and newbs- which is totally cool with me. If you ladies would rather keep the group small and experienced then just post or email to let me know. Times and meeting place to follow.
I'm kind of a newbie and my friend I was climbing with moved back out east. I'm really hoping to find people to climb with. I do have a rope and a few quick draws, but my gear is limited. I'd just love to get out and climb some more.
Hey Lauren, Nicole and I exchanged emails and I think we are going to do a more local climb on Thursday. We both have time constraints keeping us closer to home that day. Shelf does sound like fun, and I would love to go next time.
Right now, we are considering Table Mountain, since it has top roping and easier sport climbs for us new leaders. Let us know if you or anyone else wants to join us.
Also, please let me know if you plan any future trips. I look forward to exploring all these great new Colorado climbing spots!

Hey, guys. Are you still planning on hitting Table this Thursday? None of my partners are in town this week. They are all on climbing vacations. The nerve!
