What is the lake in the middle of the picture?

Looks like the area around June Lake loop, maybe Grant Lake? If so, this is near where Steve Fosset went down! The ski area visible would be June Mountain Ski Area.

George is right on. The Fosset crash site is a ways sw of our plane's position in this photo. The wreckage was found a few clicks north of the low valley that houses Devil's Postpile. Real mystery what he was doing up there and why he went down. Hopefully we'll know more once the NTSB report comes out.
