Climbing at Lake Nickajack
|
I've heard rumors about deep water soloing at Lake Nickajack. My father lives in Scottsboro, AL on the AL/TN line and i'm always looking for relief from the doldrums of summer in the South. Any beta would be great. Thanks. |

There oughtta be! I just wonder how many miles of cliffband you'd have to scout to find it. Isn't there a good topo available? I wonder if it's that plateau level is too far above it though. |

There is...don't know where or have a topo...but I have heard about it...even see a few pictures. |

Isn't that crag called Europa that Jerry R. developed around there? Supposedly chipped-all-to-hell limestone sportiness. |
|
It's mostly Chris Chesnutt that developed Europa (right on Nickajack/24) from my understanding. |

None of this has been helpful what so ever, lol. Any directions or landmarks that I should look for would be really helpful. Somebody please spray me down! |
