That is hilarious... how could whoever made that sign think that was OK. And then somebody else looked at it, thought is was ok, and installed it into the ground! Don't people think any more!

i think the best part about this sign is that the letters are not only painted but CARVED into the wood.....during the i dont know maybe half an hour it took to carve the word ROCKS it didnt come across the guys mind "hmm this word looks a little wierd"

i hate to be the one to say this but i don't think the people who made this sign give two shiats whether it's "rocks climbing" or "rock climbing".

After all, there are many different rocks to climb there, right? Still, pretty funny!

I don't think that it is a mistake.
The name of the area is "Rumney Rocks"
and the day use is climbing.
I've been climbing there for 15 years and never found the sign to be odd or wrong.

i had never noticed that before... but what i do know is seeing this sign is always a good feeling know a great day of climbng is right around the corner
