Is that a thin section (viewed under cross-polarized light) of the corbin sandstone?

I want to climb with the person who gave us the thin section.I am a geologist too and will be driving from Boulder to Norfolk in Sept. Would love to sample your rock.

Pretty sure it's not x-polarized. Not much use in x-polar on a quartz arenite.
