Comment Filters

Small improvement, but you can filter comments by type (Beta, Conversation, etc.) using a new drop-box available above the comment section on routes and areas.

Thanks, Andy. This has the potential to be a useful feature. However, from an examination of several areas and routes, it seems that many comments do not have the proper "Info" or "Off Topic" designation, and this feature won't be fully useful until the database is cleaned up to properly categorize comments. See The Sport Park for example. Needless to say, this is a huge job and I don't see it getting done by already overworked administrators.

Ongoing, admins should make sure that new comments added to the database are properly categorized as "Info" or "Off Topic".

I'd also like to see the "Print A Mini-Guide" and "Printer Friendly View" features enhanced so "Print Comments" has checkboxes for "Info Comments" and "Off Topic Comments".

That's the exact reason I didn't want to put these comments on a back page... too many miscategorized ones - and I think it'll be tough for admins to keep up with comments being categorized properly.
