The route steps right around onto the face beside the dihedral from this point. Going straight up (a variation) from here has led to some spectacular leader falls.

Nice photo. I've climbed straight up from here (actually slightly right then up) on TR, and I think I've led it, but I'm not sure about that. The actual route, moving straight right, involves a strange move to pull right onto your foot. After that you're precariously perched on one foot, barely in balance. There's a strange, very fat pin to clip from that position.
