And I'd wager that Terry is in a pair of new EB's, tied in with a gut wrenching swami belt and has a pile of oval carabiners for a rack..."quick Draws" were a long way from invention when this shot was taken...and if he is taking chalk along, I'll bet its in a tiny stuff sack that would close around your wrist when you dipped into it. Great, historically significant photo taken at a tipping point in the evolution of free climbing.
