Description 

This is a small and unassuming boulder with only one developed line on it. this problem however, is fantastic. The problem is called "Secant Line" (V-7+) and it is no doubt one of the instant classics for the area.

Getting There 

walk past the tavern wall, past the radio tower buildings and uphill through the craggy area. the boulder will be on your left. look for the featureless scoop on its face and the near vertical corner up it's side.

Sit start with a right hand down low in a shallow, first digit undercling. put your right foot on a dimple and smear your left foot on the bottom of the smooth left side of the boulder.pull up off of the undercling with some brawn and slap the angry sloper lip. work through a bump to the desperate corner. bump your left hand up the corner. end up topping out through the left hand side of the boulder, (the scoop side)....[more]   Browse More Classics in VA
