SDS, start on far left side of the boulder climb the arete on slopers to nice holds.
Pads. Nice landing.

Thank you for the picture, in this day and age where my cell phone has a 2.0 megapixel camera in it, I'm not sure I understand why so many boulder problems get posted without photo beta. Roped route descriptions are one thing, but with so many problems potentially packed onto one boulder it REALLY helps to have even one snapshot of what you are trying to describe. 1 pic = 1000 words man. I miss the desert...GJ rocks.

More than a little contrived/compressed.

Does this start on the sloper and crimp down low below the arete?

A little contrived? LOL, yeah... considering it's the obvious line right up that part of the boulder, I guess I understand where you're coming from.
And yeah, you start down low, left hand in a sidepull/jug and right hand on a crimp.
Much easier when the temperatures are low.

There must be some super special beta to make this anywhere near V5. It seems more like double digits.
