Comments: Or better yet, you can lead it thinking it's Good Times since you can't read a guide book. If you do this expect no pro until ~30 feet up and then a bomber #1 camalot AFTER the 5.8 crux which is a high step smear from crimpers. Der.

Also I found humor in your opinion that City routes are sandbagged. I've always thought the opposite.

Comments: I know there's discussion about this issue, but for my .02:

An EXISTING ROUTE is one that is published and known. Although the sheer # of bolts looks looney, I'm not sure the route between G and I is a bad thing given it's neighbors are routes that no one except Tony knew about and that he tends to conveniently pluck out of his hat when it suits his motives.
I've led Raisin Bran, Face the Fax and Thieves Reprieve in their original state and they certainly do NOT need additional bolts. ... more >>

Comments: Thanks for the clarification. Could you define the difference between 5.0-5.4? Curious if there's any difference, if only semantically.

Comments: Finally got on the 3rd pitch. Highly recommended. #3 cam for the initial roof. A 70 will land you back at the belay @ the top of Tarzan, but you have to put your rope around the belay tree. Pulled fine though.

Or your forearm for that matter?

Is your hand attached to your upper arm?

If so, forgive the insensitivity.

Comments: Depends on the carrier of course, but generally LCC is more cell friendly than BCC as it is a glacial canyon and therefore generally straighter. Certainly there are places where a signal is hard to find, but it's usually not too far of a walk to get one.
