Location: VT : Smugglers Notch By: MikeJ When: Aug 7, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: I agree the grades in the Kemple book are all incredibly inconsistent, and directions to boulders are often misleading. Still, better than nothing. Best part of climbing at Smuggs: pissing off passing drivers. Some woman in a mini van called us "very stupid" as we finished a roadside V0... definitely the highlight of my weekend! :)

Location: NH : Rumney : The Parking Lot Wall : Espresso (5.10d) By: MikeJ When: May 22, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Don't understand some of the comments... the first moves of the route were not at all hard for me and I don't see how traversing into the route would affect the grade. The crux is absolutely the move off the crimp before the second to last (?) bolt. Found a technical solution with a heel hook. Grade? Who cares!! 5.FUN!!!
