Comments: The first move was pretty easy for me being pretty tall. The traffic has made the footholds pretty big though. Less slabby after the first bolt, so that was fun.

Comments: That would make the pocketed gray streak to the right of it Common Misconception right? It was confusing because it seemed way easier than the CHCA. marking the climbs would be very convenient. Thanks for posting it, really cool to have some local limestone to train on

Comments: When we first found this spot, we just did the move from the sidepull to the hueco, then later worked on the undercling start, but broken holds halted our progress. So, props for gettin' it done!! Problem to the left had alrerady been done, too.

Comments: I would recommend the Video Guide to Joe's Valley a film by Nathan Cando, it goes through 28 of the classic problems and also a guidebook that plays during the movie. Found wherever climbing videos are available.

Comments: Yes, the feet are actually pretty good, it's the length of the jump that make it pretty hard. Landing seems sketchy, but two pads and I feel safe enough to throw at it.

Comments: This is located in the north end of the park. Not the north side of the main boulders but about a mile north. I've been developing some sweet problems up there and I'll be posting them soon with better directions.

Comments: I believe these boulders are on the very north end of Ute Valley Park. Instead of turning off of Centennial at Mule Deer Drive, continue heading north until Centennial meets Vindicator, turn right and follow it until you reach a parking lot on the right. Take the trail that heads out of the lot for about 50 yards and it crosses a path heading northwest. Take that a couple hundred yards and you will see the rocks on the ridge. I would take the trail to the very end of the ridge, which is close to... more >>
