Comments: A fun variation that probably does not change the grade is to start on the same low start hold and dyno to the mantel lip, then finish the route normally.

Comments: Ante Up is a crap line. It has grown in and is super mossy. Unless you were to figure out how to top this out through tons of moss, it goes at like V5 till the lip.

Comments: Locate on this boulder is a V4ish traverse, Ante Up which is a horrible V6 and a project that is V10-12.
I will post a pic soon.

Comments: This is an awesome day of hiking. We started at 4am and were on the top of Peak 10 at 4pm. Take at least a gallon of water, you will need it for sure. For us, Peak 4 was the hardest peak, because it is loose scree. After you skirt around the base on the cliff on 4, try to get to the ridge as soon as possible, because once you get to the ridge, it's MUCH easier. As for Peak 10, it is much easier to descend down into the valley and walk up the road then to the top. The scree on the north side of 1... more >>

Comments: Is this boulder a joke? it is like 4' tall. I have never climbed on it but have seen it from the road. You could jump to the top.

Comments: There is a new bolt at the bottom, so no gear is required to do this climb. Also the bottom section seems to have cleaned up, because it is relatively solid now.

Best 11 on the Piggy Bank for sure!

Comments: I will take more photos on how to get to the area and am planning on building a trail up the hill to make it easier to find.

NOTE: I made a faint trail that gets you up the hill from the Hummingbird Boulders.

Comments: The far left line is not V2 and is a complete joke. The only semi-worthwhile line on this boulder is the dihedral crack.

Comments: Yeah, we cleaned up the landing and the line. It's not bad, and I cleaned most of the lose crap out, but it's still a little dirty and loose.

Comments: CAMP THIEVES IN THE AREA. BEWARE!!!

Sure wish I would have seen these posts earlier. We camped on May 30th at Bone Park (Nine Mile area). Left folding chairs, table, and a stove/grill in camp while we were climbing. Came back to find our stuff was all gone! Super unfortunate because the climbing here is really great. Apparently, it's not a nice neighborhood. Never had any problems elsewhere in Colorado.

Like V4-5?

Comments: Nice route with very interesting movement. WARNING! There is a huge block at the top that is sitting on a sloping ramp that you kind of have to grab that will go on the next big person that grabs it! If you can do the move without grabbing the block, you will be ok, but if you are short, avoid this route!

Comments: A lot of folks have a difficult time finding the start of this route. Here's the beta:

Park in the bike path parking lot which is at the west end of Main Street in Frisco right before you would get on I-70 at Exit 201.

Gear up here as the finish does not take you back to the start but rather to your car.

Walk west (toward Copper Mtn.) along the bike path for roughly 200 meters. You will be under some very large overhead power lines. When you reach the first large green power line pole, look t... more >>

Comments: As of April 2013, this route has been completely, and thoughtfully, re-bolted including the finish hardware. D'Antonio's guidebook has it as 5.12 which is a mis-print. It is 5.11.

Comments: Big thanks to Rob for all his great work on this wall and others here in Summit County!

Jack Straw (great name by the way) is a really fun and challenging line with some pretty big exposure on the second pitch. First pitch goes easily at 5.10. However, the second pitch is considerably harder than any of the 5.10s I've been climbing recently. I gave it a 5.11a. Everything you need is there, but once you find it, it's thinner than you wish. Enjoy!
