Comments: Hi Eric and Sam glad you enjoyed the experience.Do not forget there are at least 200 other climbs here on the Reef for your pleasure. One is not enough!Day of Atonement for example is as good if not better climb .. All The Best from the UK. PS I do consider myself a moderate leader.

Comments: If you do 1000' of Fun as discribed you will need two ropes to rap as anchors are at least 150' apart, you cannot walk off from the top of the climb.. There are some singe pitch routes in the area but can be quite difficult.

Comments: The lenth of the rope was as seen in the photo. The lads found this 10' of hemp rope .One was leaning over the top holding the rope with one hand in order have a photo that looked like we were "real" rock climbers. Photo taken with a Brownie Box Camera.

Comments: The first ascent was made in 1971 by Mike Stultz , George Eyper and Joe Cote .This party placed a 6" bong for protection . While not actually used as aid, it was impossible to avoid coming in contact with it.Barber and Masury in 1976 climbed it without the bong.. a bolt placed next to the crack is used for protection.

Comments: Yes 60m ropes are fine. It is easier to duo rap if you feel ok with that.
