Comments: Loose, dangerous, chossy and not very relaxing route to climb;...but still fun in a sic/twisted way;.....we liked it. Another grand sandstone summit. Rope landed in a cacti on the last rap. One of the bolts at the last rap is sticking out a little bit;...it's still bomber.

Comments: This route seemed harder than 5.10a.....more like 5.10b;....and the rock is somewhat grainy and there is some distance between the bolts. With traffic and maybe a bit of brushing, the route would be fine;...but still heads up. There is a bolted anchor on top of this climb, which also can be shared with the climb Ren, which is a cool climb....until the top when Ren gets all grainy too!

Comments: Demon Deacons (5.7)*
Located on the far left (east) edge of the summit boulders (The highest climbable cliff as seem from the parking lot). Climb up the face past four bolts to a two bolt anchor.

Comments: This could probably be listed as a sport climb, and not a trad climb..
It is protected by bolts only so all you need is quick draws and the bolts and close enough to probably not be considered dangerous or run out. There is a bolted anchor on top as well..

Comments: i love this climb....i am really surprised that is isn't more popular. It really is a mega-cool route. Maybe someday it will get the respect and love that is so richly deserves. (good job, Jim Dover, on the lead....)..

Comments: Someone has dropped a large rock/ chockstone down this offwidth, probably making it easier at the crux IF you use this rock jammed in the crack. The rock wiggles around a bit when you use it (if you choose to do so), but....this being said;..the climb is still at least 5.10b. It's a cool and challenging climb either with or without the chockstone.

Comments: In the T. Goss guidebook and Misty's Limestone Bible, this route is called "Office Party". It is the 2nd route from the right on the wall. The furthest right route (in the Goss book) is called Mystery Companion (5.10a...although I though it was a bit harder than 5.10a). In Misty Murphy's Limestone Bible, she has Office Party correctly, but does not have the Mystery Companion route listed. That being said,....the route is super cool and the whole area is fantastic. The route is not Grade V..... more >>

Comments: i have climbed here as well. Yeah, there is loose stuff, but if you are careful, you can have a blast here. The climbing is ususual, as you are climbing on limestone that has ocean creature fossils embedded into the rock. Some of the climbing is "sporty" for sport climbing....so lead or top rope or do whatever you feel comfortable with. The climbing is steep, pretty fun, a bit heads up, and the scenery is top shelf. Overall, ....we had a great day of cragging!....but you do have to be caref... more >>
