Comments: I read the p1 description as 5.4, but didn't realize that this didn't include the obvious crack start. The crack was fun, but 5.6, not 5.4. :)

Comments: I tried to do it with cams, including a micro in the right side of that blocky looking formation about 15-20 feet up. It pulled out as I climbed past it, which had never happened to me before. Fortunately I had a good stance and was able to place better gear right away. I lowered, let a friend try it, then led it again successfuly. I don't have loads of trad experience, but the second try went MUCH better and I was able to send it fairly clean.

Comments: I belayed at the top of the chimney too. It was such a nice ledge, just seemed like the place to do it.

Comments: Great fun. Love the jug haul section after the slabby part is over. Wish that horizontal was small enough for a fist jam, but maybe I just couldn't find it...

Comments: Low crux was real tough for me. Took me 3 tries to get started, then some easy climbing after that. Learned the OK finger jam that day.

Comments: My first "real" trad lead, and it felt great. The traverse wasn't as bad as the climbers before me made it look, but there is some air out there. After the traverse, its pretty easy climbing with loads of solid gear and even a few pins (if you're into old rusty iron pro).
