More information:
I've started my summer climbing trip a little early this year. I'm always looking for partners, as I am not working much and can climb most any time.

I have climbed two summers in the Yosemite (Valley/Tuolumne Meadows) and in the High Sierras (Incredible Hulk). 2010's notables were Steck-Salathé, which was brutal, yet doable, and a 14hr car-to-car run on the Red Dihedral (The Incredible Hulk). The year before I was able to get on Positive Vibrations as well, although it was an overnighter at the base. I also soloed Mt Whitney's East Buttress in 2010. Also, got to the Bugaboos and on Mt Yamnuska near Calgary.

In CO, in the three summers earlier, I have taken advantage of Eldorado and Boulder Canyons, the Flatirons, Lumpy Ridge and RMNP. I can lead 10's and have even been on a couple of 11's as well. Alpine-wise, I have now been on The Diamond twice; once I bailed in 2008 due to cold weather, and in late Aug, 2009 did the Yellow Wall (5.10c/d variation). I have completed the Petit Grepon and Directisima on the Chasm View Wall. I also like to hike the 14'ers, having done a handful now. In 2011, I trekked to Everest Base camp and four other points higher than that; two peaks, two passes, no porter, no guide, most amazing!

I have my own 60m & 70m ropes and trad rack, which is well suited for linking pitches, and am a pretty safe climber. I am a better technical climber than a power-house, so bouldery routes can evade me! I like long trad and alpine routes. I also do days of sport, but am not attracted to bouldering outside; hence my lack of power!

I have an SUV with plenty of room for another person, as well as all camping gear, including two tents/sleeping bags and a bivy sack for back country days.

I am pretty friendly and work well with other people. I can also show you the ropes, if you like, or be shown the same on harder stuff!

I can be reached at via text/vmail at 713.677.4436 and via email (on phone) at SunnyJamshedji@Hotmail.Com.
