Comments: This climb was so funky.

P1- what a slog in that chimney. Agree that it's unprotectable.

P2. Kind of okay moves into what may be the least comfortable belay I've ever set up. That gigantic block in the back of the cave is detached! I used a #3 and 4 above and got a smaller piece in below to create an anchor. Definitely took some ingenuity.

P3. Kind of somewhat enjoyable moves to a chosspile at the top. I didn't see a spot to build an anchor, so I climbed to the chimney to the left and b... more >>

Comments: Little Si is all plutonic igneous rock. World wall is mostly serpentine (hydrated ultramafic rocks! Cool!) which is a phylosilicate (primary, unlike secondary clays) which makes it super slippery. Serpentine is some of the most beautiful rock in the world to look at when cut and polished, so be stoked to climb on it!!

Comments: I love this route!

My favorite part is the little balancey bulge crux before the rest ledge. Then get your pump hat on because you're burning at the last hand jam and clips!

This route is 100% pure fun. The holds are all totally dry as of 6/14, except for the left foot jug at the clips, so have fun!
