Comments: As of 7/5/15 There was a badger or skunk hunkered down in the alcove that's ½ way up this crack. He seemed like he wasn't planning on moving an inch when we hiked by below. Would hate to climb up this route and come face to face with him. Would suggest tossing a rock or two up into the alcove created by the crack shifting direction to see if anyone is home before hoping on this route first thing in the morning.

Comments: They're actually like Pokemon, they start out as deer, and if they survive enough years without getting run over by marauding tourons in giant SUVs, then they evolve into elk. They usually stay in the elk stage for many years and many games of rock-paper-antlers until one day they ascend to the level of the almighty MOOSE and depart for the western side of the divide.
