Comments: Climbed this route last weekend and we had the place to ourselves. Overall a fun route in an incredible area. I do take issue with the description on the approach. We hiked in following the Honeymoon Lake towards Italy pass to the cross country area. Frankly from the moment you step off the trail its a rugged with many rocks/boulders to avoid.

Comments: Done the approach now twice and both times I've avoided rapping and anything sketchy for that matter. Rough directions: Park at the geological exhibit and approach as per the noted rappel. Instead, cut out towards the right (rock left) looking for cairns and aiming for the edge. A couple hundred yards from the car you should hit a sandy ledge which traverses away from Power Dome to allow one to access another ledge system below. Seems like its from 2001....anyone know if anything is in the works like, oh I don't know a 4th edition perhaps?

Comments: Did this route and found it very fun and a great car to car adventure.
As previously noted, we too found pitches 2 and 3 wet. We were able to climb/friction around it. One important point. On pitch 3 the first bolt off the belay was nearly impossible to clip. To make matters worse, it is smack dab in the middle of a water flow. My guess, rocks beat the hanger down.
Suggestion would be the next person planning on doing this climb bring a new hanger and wrench. AT the very least bring a quick l... more >>

Comments: Great little area with a bunch of moderate and well protected apron/slab routes. Approach, bolts and anchors are all solid. Bob and Clint did a wonderful job here. Hats off to you both!

Comments: Great route....I'd stay off the 3rd pitch though as the quality degrades significantly and I found no anchor.
