Short people be aware. The initial slab will be next to impossible for you (or it was for me at least).

The pitch 5 was covered with moss and very sandy. We linked pitch 5 & 6, climbed pitch 7 to the top of OW on pitch 8, and then climbed to the top. I enjoyed the route expect the vegetated pitch, which scared the crap out of me!

By: Shiho When: Oct 3, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: You can rap the entire route with a single 70 m rope. You can link pitch 4 and 5 to avoid the hanging belay. It's worth going to the very top even though the last chimney pitch is a kitty litter box.

Ha! So true. I remember clipping to 3 bolts on the pitch 3 and the pitch was about 150 feet. Love this route. One of my many favorites in NC.
