I started climbing in 1992 in Pawtuckaway State Park in New Hampshire. Through the years I climbed primarily trad routes all over New Hampshire and Maine, mostly Cathedral Ledge and White Horse, and sport routes at Rumney, as well as various crags throughout the region. I also have climbed the Gunks, Moab, City of Rocks, Boulder, Squamish, Devil's Tower, Looking Glass, and Acadia National Park as well as many other stellar climbing areas.

I've been in California since 2009 but have climbed only a handful of times since coming out here.

I've recently discovered Idyllwild and it has renewed my interest in multipitch trad climbing.

I'm quite experienced but rusty in my skills and would like to start up by following trad routes in the 5.7 to 5.9 range. I could probably lead 5.7 maybe 5.8 after a few trips out.

I have a B.S. in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire and have in years past been a nationally registered EMT with SOLO WEMT as well as some high angle search and rescue training.

Looking for solid, reliable, drug-free (at least while climbing) partners who can maybe carpool from the San Fernando Valley.
