Comments: As of 3/21/09 the slider nut at the start was gone, although a grey TCU works in its spot.

Comments: Too bad the P1 anchors are not ~ 5 feet higher, since that would make it possible to rap from the top of P3 to the top of P1 in a single rap.

I tried to go for it and ended up just a little bit short.

Comments: If you keep on the face the climbing is really fun, but maybe a little bit harder (5.8+)? Recommended.

Comments: Our rope got stuck on the 2nd to last rappel. Suggest pulling the rope to the left on this rappel.

Would be nice if someone puts some rap rings on the nice new belay bolts.

Comments: I think 11b/c is fair. And BTW if Crack a Go-Go is the standard for 11c, then Butterballs should be 11d.

Comments: I thought the topo was right on. P3 is 9+ if you are used to that style of climbing (handcrack in the back of a flare). We linked the last two pitches together. The bombay chimney is so much fun!

Comments: Great route! Climbing the original start with a 70m, you can link 1+2 (long pitch!) and 3+4.

Comments: Try scissoring your feet, I found that works well. Near the top I even got both feet on the left wall for a bit.

Comments: Went to this area last weekend -- got a little lost and it took 2+ hours to get there (with the bushwacking). I think 45 mins is pretty optimistic.

Comments: I wonder how people protected this route back in the day (without a big cam)? Did they tie off the chockstone, or just run it out to the lip?
