Comments: Cronin - you are a funny guy. I guess there must be some minimum age limit on this site for friends to give each other a little grief. I see the other comments were deleted (by the powers that be) by some of the younger folk calling Coin a bitch. In any event, I concur with McNeil on the fact that your location was off, but that is because your a geriatic who is losing sight. Maybe my beta is useful.

Comments: You are correct, sir! This route is absolutely a "gateway" to future hard men and women and a fine route. Case-in-point, I belayed a long curly-haired future hardwomen climber named Lee on this. It was Lee's first attempt to redpoint the route. Three times Lee fell attempting to make the move to stand-up and clip the third bolt. Each time Lee's hair would go flying as she came towards the ground, actually toe-tapping the dirt each time. Comments: Johnnie, you're back! And such an angry little leprechaun. I see you have kept up with the "Spearfish" crew and some of our whereabouts. You have also been kind enough to provide us with your recent travels and impressive resume. WOW! I, for one, am glad to see you back around as my Old Man Climber rating system may have had something to do with your departure. I was just kidding...I always liked ya (remember when you taught me not to backclip on Oliver Twist). I hope everything is going w... more >>

Comments: Hey Christian, We used to go to this area all the time. I am not sure of its official name, but it has great problems. The two steep problems to the far left are "I wanna rock" and "Panama." To the right of those are several (maybe four) good problems that are all V0 to V4. Thanks for putting up these pictures, this was one of my favorites. It is good to hit on the way out.

Comments: Bouldering right under the best wall in the Canyon...there is only a few ways such a thing can happen. Fuks found them. Cronin got lost on the way down to his car due to Alzheimer's and started climbing on the rocks mistakenly, or McNabb was finally told that you can't pull on the nylon straps of quickdraws as a way of ascension. Whats up guys...just thought I would say hi....and where are those two really good routes? One was Battlecry and the other one to the left was called Ricochet or som... more >>
