Comments: Who knows the best way to approach the different areas of the butte? In attempt to reach the north face the other day, we found ourselves bushwacking and scrambling quite a bit. It was not fun. We approached using the climber's trail from the south and wrapped around the northeast face, but once we got to the north side it seemed like it might be easier to come up using the paved trail. Comments: Still bees around the corner of this climb. I think the rating of this climb should be harder when bees are present... at least give it a PG-13. I mean come on, those bees are scary.

Comments: Yeah, there are two different ways to go for Pitch 3. We got a little confused on finding the 5.8 P3, so we opted to do the scarier 5.7, which is more of a direct route. It is an obvious, left-angling ramp up the face.
