Pano shot of the West Side Columns of the Lower Gorge as seen from the base of Off Tempo on the east side. Furthest left is the Morning Star Wall; furthest right is the Wildfire Wall (Pure Palm route, 11a, is the nicely chalked up stem box on right). Catwalk Cliff is a wide swath of columns in the center. Photo taken on a particularly snowy December weekend.

My wife following Toys In The Attic. This is the (crux?) downward traverse which is probably more scarey to follow than to lead. This is looking from the belay bolts.

Comments: I gotta acknowledge MP & Ryan for putting this area on our radar. Spent 3 days in beginning of Jan. 2013 & had a blast! No other climbers around, hardly any tourists. Also, I second what's been said above about Noom - great guy, great place to stay, & killer coffee.

Comments: Mostly micros, didn't place anything larger than a red (crappy & optional) Camalot. Traversed out when level w hanger less bolts. Good route.

Comments: That pitch 2 is spectacular & the total lack of bolts on the route is a rare thing of beauty! I think pitch 5 can be seen as 5.9 if you're tall & seem significantly harder if you're short...[edit in] err, I mean less tall. Actually I also think that goes for P2. My wife & I have a big height differential & that was our humble experience.

Comments: A proud looking line even if much of the climbing was a bit ho-hum. Stellar views & summit!!
