More information:
I'm a math professor at the University of Nebraska. (Nebraska is apparently one of two states in the union with no rock climbing.) I do manage to get to Colorado occasionally and enjoy climbing particularly in RMNP. I have been climbing for 48 years now, and, thanks to improving gear, most routes aren't much harder now than they used to be.
