I thought this would work well, but the trail dead ends at the saddle and then its a total bushwack. On the way out we found a trail that will lead you to the top of the Heizer trail. The Heizer trail starts in Cascade.

Is it down low at the 1st hair pin turn on the Palmer trail or up high off the ridge straight away? I ride that trail a lot and the only turn I've ever noticed was way down low. Still looks like a grunt to get to it, but the rock looks beautiful from a distance. It's calling me....

This is really classic for the 50 or so feet long it is (just guessing the length). I had to climb it before I new what the route was or what it was rated. Actually blew my 1st attempt because I didn't have gear small enough for the start and kept falling to the ground. Will take a 00 TCU at the start. Thanks for not bolting this route. The thin gear at the beginning adds to the fun.
