Trad anchor at the top since there are no more bolts. Well overprotected. 3 small-medium cams should do it.

Me looking down in the dark at the anchors and beyond on "Always leave a generous root tip" at the Draper Red Rock having just top-rope soloed in the dark. Just beyond my knee is the ledge I enjoyed doing as a nifty little heel-hook/mantle combo with a bunch of slack in the line. Right on.

Comments: Bolts are gone. Not too bad setting up anchor with small-medium cams, tri-cams, sling a horn. Be sure your lockers are below the edge, because the crack will want to eat your rope otherwise.

Note that this crack is now being used by "highball boulderers" who seem to be comfortable pushing your rope out of the way and climbing beside you while you're on the route.

Aside from that, it's still a great place to bring the kids. My 6 year old topped out for the first time on this the other day.

Comments: Toproped by traversing over from the chains on "The Wild". Two intermediate pieces of pro to protect the traverse each way.

Comments: I think some parts broke off. I climbed it two years ago and it was a solid < 5.5. Now it seems like some hands and feet are missing. There are obvious scars.

Comments: Is this "Shark Teeth 5.6" from the plaque at the bottom?

Comments: Since the top after the mantle onto the ledge is only 3rd/4th class, I just leaned over and clipped the single anchor at the top of Shark Teeth, though it's a bit harder to clean after yourself.

Comments: May 30, 2009 - it appears as though all but one of the bolts on top of the 5.6s are missing - - (edited 6/9/2009)

they are gone, closer inspection reveals they were pulled out. The one left is spinning, so it needs to be pulled as well. I didn't have tools with me, but next time I go, if it's still there, I'll pull it.

Is there any need to replace these? Does anyone care?

Comments: I was emailed and asked today about the "plastic holds" that used to be under the little roof under the .9/.10 area. They are no longer there this year in case anyone is interested.
