Comments: Awkward jams on slick rock in the beginning leads to secure ring-locks. Good pro up the discontinuous crack, probably needs a bolt or two toward the top.

Comments: More houses? What about the thousands of empty ones crammed together Along blue diamond road? We really need another strip mall? More payday advance stores and pawnshops? Comments: This one is a little spicy to reach the first bolt. PG-13 perhaps? Yes, Pat did almost crack his head, but was super out of position. He's hard-headed though. The rock would've been dust.

The decision to top - rope, work potential routes, find placements, then drill- came out of necessity. The dichotomous nature of this formation ranges from stellar to nasty and rotten. A TR allowed us to test the rock, check for 'booby traps', and avoid face-fulls of gravity powered rhyolite goulash.

Comments: Definitely keep a low profile getting in. The left approach is over the century flood dam and is direct, however, the gate is locked. The residents of the posh P.S. neighborhood actually have keys to this lock, generally are cordial, but it is all water district land. Hanging out in this 'hood for any more than a few moments to gather your pack is a bad idea. Ninja like approaches will help ensure future surreptitious adventures.
