Comments: So we went up and cleaned off the upper part of S&C but failed to send. Both sides of the arete are in play, but the moves are tricky and high off the deck. Bring the spotters and all the pads you can round up.

Comments: If you enjoy bouldering at the Lake, than this problem is a must try- great problem! I was going to go for the direct, but no spotter and a dirty head-wall did not spark confidence. A little bit of cleaning and I think the line to the left of the upper arete will go.

Comments: Nope, no where near it. From this talus field I hiked up to the East Bluff trail and walked up to the Thin Man Corridor. From there I hiked into that talus field and checked out the Australia boulder and some of those larger blocks. That talus field in general has much larger boulders with larger gaps between them(sketchy). I took pictures of both the talus fields from the West Bluff and the difference is clear. When you get back from SLC, we'll go check it out.

Comments: Rhoads, I figured out that they are two different talus fields. I hiked them both and they are separated like the talus fields on the West Bluff. The Australia boulder is just downhill from the Thin Man Corridor at the Monolith. I just wanted to make it less confusing and easier to find.

Comments: Yeah Nic, this line is beautiful. It looks better in person. Lots of pads needed, but that shouldn't be a problem if you bring the van load.
