Comments: Be careful on this one. The fifth bolt sounds like it's in a chunk of rock about to come out. The anchors are probably not long for this world and neither is most of the rock above the 3rd bolt. The top half of this climb is through the semi-permanent mud that runs between the lower and upper tiers of Golden Cliffs and after doing this climb you can understand why there are so few climbs through that band. I don't like to trash a climb that somebody obviously put some time and money in prote... more >>

Comments: Fun route, particularly the last pitch! Does 'slab' get any steeper than this pitch?
Got a little off route on the third pitch, went too far right across an old buttonhead 1/4" bolt. From the second belay head up next to the water groove for 2 bolts and then start angling right across the nice new bolts. Carrying a copy of the topo would have kept me on route.

As for the grade, I would say old school 10b/c, if you've been clipping bolts in Clear Creek for a while then it's 11b.

Comments: I'm confused about this route, I took 12 draws and ran out before the anchor so I traversed over to the anchors on "The Decider". Did I miss the anchors or have bolts been added?

Comments: Fun route, found it to be a little nicer than Bush Admin and a smidgen harder.

Comments: I think I counted 7 bolts on this route, not 8, plus the anchor.

Comments: Not a bad route if you stick to the slabby stuff climbing directly over the bolts and then pull the roof without bailing out right. If you stuck with staying to the right of the route all the way, I would probably say about 5.7 or 5.8.

Comments: Jason Haas and Ben Schneider in their new guide call this climb "W.W.J.B. (What Would Jesus Bolt)" and rate it rate it 10c.

Comments: Definitely a nice climb, too bad more people don't seem to try Feeding Frenzy as much as MBA, IMO it's a much more enjoyable climb. Certainly not a one move climb.

Comments: Did these two climbs on 10/24/2008 and somebody has placed 3 bolts about 10 back from the edge. I would recommend using these to set a top rope anchor and being careful around the top 15 feet of these climbs. Geology happens and eventually the top of the this climb is coming down.

Comments: Fun little route. If you're climbing the 'Spike' you should do this route as well.

Comments: IMHO among the more interesting climbs at table. Very safe lead as there is a bomber jam before the crux that allows pro placement at the hardest move/s. I did the strenuous layback version through the crux, have to try the ring locks next time but it does seem a bit wide for my fingers. Would have to say that at 10a this climb felt a bit harder than other easy 10s at Table.

Comments: Be careful of some loose rock on the upper half of this climb. Climbing in CC got me out of the habit of checking holds before weighting them and took an unexpected little fall on this one, approx 10 pound block came loose. Fortunately my belayer heard me yell rock and got out of the way in time, otherwise it would have been much worse.

Comments: Did Bonehead on Junes 17, 2006 and counted 8 bolts. I would say it's only slightly easier than Conehead.

Comments: I did this climb today after doing Eiger Sanction without knowing what it was. I would say it's slightly harder than ES for whatever that's worth. Being a chicken s*it about taking falls I would probably take a small piece to place below the first bulge as a fall there would not be real pleasant. In general I would say that the grades at Little Eiger tend to be stiffer (read more accurate) than some of the other areas in Clear Creek I've climbed. All in all a fairly fun climb, worth as many ... more >>
