For this reason, 4 stars, coolest move I have done on a route under 5.12

Felt harder than 10D, but my partner who is 5.8 thought it was easier.

Not an R. Great Gear the whole way.

Comments: Accidentally did this route, we where looking for a 10d near bye and got on the wrong route. OOPS

This is a death trap with tons of loose rock.

I am VERY solid at the grade and was not enjoying myself. The biggest crux is figuring out which holds can handle body weight and which holds can not(most of them).

Gear is tricky.

Comments: To all climbers inspiring to climb CC.

Bring a HEAD LAMP, there is a high probability of having rope issues on the rappel if you are inexperienced with quality rope management. The are lots of cracks and chicken heads to get your rope stuck on not to mention that the route is very exposed to wind.

New climbers, brush up on your rope management skills as well as learn the techniques to retrieve a rope that is stuck safely.

Comments: Careful, it is easy to get off route. There are a lot of clean lines up the buttress that climb harder than 5.6.
