Retired! Almost 61 and learned to climb in the Tetons in 1985. I live in Portage, Wisconsin, which is only 16 miles from the friction-less quartzite at Devil's Lake. I primarily enjoy mountaineering and have ascended peaks in the western U.S., Mexico, Canada, Europe, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Alaska. Pardon the pun, but the Needles rock. The Needles and Spires in the Hills are only 760 miles away from where I live, which makes the long drive bearable for a 4-day or longer road trip. This web site is super. Great job! |
