Comments: Hey Flagstaff Community.

I may have left a light green hat somewhere around Hobo climbing area. Has anyone found it? It has a Pup N Suds Logo on it and is actually quite important to me. Any chance anyone has seen it around the base of the cliffs? I spent the last three weeks climbing in Hobo. Let me know. Would much appreciate it.

Comments: Reading the description is confusing, as myself and 4 other people did not do the crux as described.

We all went left at the bulge, and used technical foot work and gaston crimps/pinches way out left of the smooth arete. ultimately either skipping the second to last bolt and going left up jugs or moving back right into the big jug to clip that bolt and straight up.

Regardless it still seemed 12-. Slippery pinches/gastons on the upper left.

Comments: Now that i see a picture of the intended start to this thing...there is currently a tree growing in the start. Made it seem hard for me to choose where to start this.

Comments: Now that i see the description to stay right at the bolts...do that. I went straight up and it felt way harder than 5.9

Comments: I think the beginning is the hardest climbing on this whole route. Easily v2.

Comments: This comment goes for alot of routes at Jacks actually, this route on here gets 2 starts, but its one of the coolest dyno sport climbs I've done. Three consecutive big deadpoints/lunges to good then worsening holds. The top stays on you as well. I thought it would be over after the dynos and fell on the top section.

Beware of MP stars...this thing is well worth a try or two.

Comments: Thanks for the history input Kevin! Just based on other routes in the area, and other routes I've done else where I'd definitely say its harder than 12+. Also once you reach the horizontal is where it lighten ups to the easiest moves on the climb. Just before the horizontal though is where we were finding the true crux to be. Multiple obvious holds have ripped off from the first bolt to the top. Lets get someone super strong to send this thing and get a newer consensus!

Comments: If you like doing the same move over and over on a horizontal roof, id go to priest draw.

Comments: After putting a V10 boulderer on the crux of this route, and having him not find a way to do this...Im pretty sure the crux holds have broken off...its a bit obvious, I alone broke three good holds while projecting this.

Seems like this is a new open project with the broken holds...Kevin maybe you can chime in with how people originally sent this line?

Comments: Just a reference point that New Moon rings in around V9/10 and is the link up between eclipse and moonstone, starting on eclipse and making a very hard crux jump over to Moonstone and finishing up the rest of moon.

Comments: I think there could be a sit start added into this, maybe bumping the grade one or two higher. JJ do you know if its been done? I assume the DRL's have probably gotten after it already.

Also any help with the name of the V9 route that goes out right from this line would be appreciated.
