Comments: I onsight free soloed a left-facing crack that's climber's left of the big face that has a route with one bolt under an anchor, that's closed off with a yellow chain, or something. It's not in the guide book. Does anyone else care to claim a first free solo?

Comments: I soloed up a chimney opposite the creek from Buttermilks Main. Any idea what it is? Does it already have a FA? I was soloing around on that formation that the chimney is a part of and was cleaning off a lot of crust. Doesn't look like it's had many people on it.

Comments: Takes a slew a cams. A lot of mediums, a few smalls. Found a good spot for a large nut. Thanks for the green webbing with the chain link at the top!

Comments: This route has the tide hitting the base of the wall, sometimes. Sometimes, the sand is high enough for a medium sized climber, like myself (5'8"), to grab the first jug overhead. The first time I saw this route, I could jump from the ground and easily grab the first hold with one hand, it's huge (too novice and scared to try the intimidating overhang)! The day I wanted to try for the redpoint, the sand was so low that I couldn't reach the first hold--I had to make use of a wooden pallet, lik... more >>
