Location: WY : Jackson Hole : Rock Springs Buttress : Triple Roofs (5.9+)
By: Norm Larson When: Jul 11, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: I used to work for JHMG in the 70's and lived in a tent cabin out at the base of Apres Vous. Rock Springs buttress was our almost daily crag, complete with tower 3 stops whenever we wanted. I believe that Jim Donini, Chuck Satterfield, and I (Norm Larson) were the first to climb this route in 1978. Donini led the roof pitch. We asked around and nobody knew of a previous ascent. It's Wyoming though so who knows. Fun route with enough 10 and 11 hexes, in those days. Cams make it easier.
