Comments: Listed in the underground guidebook as a black diamond, so I guess V6 felt right. If you are from out west and climb splitter finger cracks all the time, it is probably V4.

Comments: there are so many crimps to start on it is wierd. I used this little slopey crimp sidepull for my right hand and the sloper crimp dish for my left. I used the little edge under the boulder for my right foot and heel hooked/ hugged around the corner to control the dynamic move to the horn. what sucks about this problem is that once you stick the dyno, your body kind of just slaps and limply hugs the boulder.
I think i tried what you did lee, but found it hard to keep from barn dooring.

Comments: i don't know about its standing among North American problems, but it would be very cool if it was one of the hardest.

Comments: believe it or not, it is 2013 and there are still remnants of a campfire under this, as well as a little soot on the lower holds. The feet appear to have been brushed. please please please donīt light fires, under this or anywhere in pway.

Comments: Heres the beta if you want it: you start low in the crack and put your right hand pinky up high in the first hand crack. Crank your elbow out and use your bicep to pull on. Put your foot up left and move your left hand to a poor pinch. Semi dyno to a finger slot with a foot high in the lower crack. From there shoot out for a little horn. Stick that move, and press out to the good finish jug. Do a wierd little mantel and top out. Check out the view over the swamp in the sunset.

Comments: I totally agree. I think people used the awkward foot in the hole and attempt to pull on with their weight all behind them. I can imagine it feels v9 that way.

Comments: Voodoo Child is so sick. Keith broke the original starting foot and banged his chin so now the foot is a couple inches closer to your hand. It makes the first move that much more difficult. From there you hit this wierd sloper undercling bulge in a slab power move and shift your feet to two high bad poppy feet. Then you go super balanced and slow to a high really poor invisible crimp. From there I turn my right foot into the starting goodish crimp and get a toehook hand match on the wild bulge.... more >>

Comments: With the right beta this is v6 at most. You can start with a heel toe cam in the start hold of general lee to make it feel v4 and a foot way out left to make it feel v6. It is super fun though, a wild start to a classic slopey moves.

Comments: What is the hard face climb directly to the left of Red? It starts on two full two pad crimps, crosses to a bad two finger gastone, hits a half pad crimp, then hits the upper red good hold and finishes up the arete.

Comments: I sent this today. It didn't feel too hard to me once I had the beta. Pulling off the ground and onto the next sloper is definitely the shut-down crux.
